In Case of Inclement Weather Emergency Day - Timing, Transportation, the Learning Day
Dear Families,
The winter months bring cold temperatures and inclement weather. There may be a time when it will be necessary to call for a remote learning day, a late start to the day, or cancel school. Please know, canceling in-person learning is a last resort. It is always our intention to have students learning in-person unless the weather makes it unsafe to do so. The decision to either cancel school, initiate a late start or use a remote learning day will be made by the Superintendent at the time it is deemed unsafe to come to school. The goal is always to make this decision by 9:00 p.m. the day prior to any closure. However, due to the timing of a significant weather related event, it might be necessary to wait until early morning.
Please see the letter below that details our D105 learning day, including timing and transportation, should the district decide to move to a Remote Learning Day or Late Start.
